Juicy Couture

Founded in 1997 by Gela Nash and Pamela Skaist-Levy, California-based Juicy Couture garnered widespread attention in the early 2000s when Madonna was photographed donning the velour tracksuit that would become the brand's signature piece. After the duo sold the company in 2003 for a reported $53M, it continued its rapid growth, quadrupling sales within a few years. In addition to casual apparel for women and children, the label offers and array of handbags and accessories.

"We started the company with $200 and the desire to create the perfect girlie collection."
