Wardrobe, a rapidly-growing, exclusive mobile-based (app) platform will serve the world’s biggest and best loved influencers and brands, is seeking a creative, dynamic, passionate social marketing intern to join our team in New York City. Under the general supervision of the founding CEO, our agency partners and development team, you will manage high-level strategies and day-to-day operations for campaigns, particularly focused on Instagram. Additionally, you’ll use your strong social media expertise and experience to help us continue to grow our footprint in this segment through new pitches, game-changing strategies developed and collaboration with our partners. We are looking for someone who is creative, good at coming up with ideas — willing to take an idea and run with it without a lot of micro-managing, has tons of enthusiasm for what they are doing and is always looking for what we can do next.
Key Qualifications + Skills
Able to commit for 3-4 months, from mid/late-August (start dates negotiable) to mid-late December.
Must be based in the NYC-area.
Passion for social media (someone who practically lives on Facebook and Instagram).
Strong knowledge of pop culture and what is currently trending.
Familiar with Adobe Photoshop /Illustrator.
Someone who believes in the power of the internet and technology to change how we think about fashion.
Possess creative problem skills. In this position, you will get your hands dirty and be required to make some decisions on your own.
Essential Duties + Responsibilities
Research fashion influencers, trends, topics, industry-related articles, videos.
Engage in pro-active communications with all current and future partners for this platform.
Schedule postings in social media production calendar.
Develop creative content to be shared on social media.
Monitor and engage with all social media interactions.
Foster stronger relationships with our clients’ audiences.
This internship is paid on a stipend-basis. Pay is $1,000 for the fall semester. Possible academic credit available as well.
